Visit of U.S. President George W. Bush to India (March 1-3, 2006)

At the invitation of Indian Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh U.S. President George W. Bush will visit India from March 1-3, 2006. President Bush's visit to India is the fifth by a U.S. President. Earlier visits were by Presidents Dwight Eisenhower (1959), Richard Nixon (1969), Jimmy Carter (1978) and William J Clinton (2000).
