The Prime Minister has condemned the terror attack in Srinagar today. He has conveyed his deep sympathies to the families of those killed in the attack. 

The Prime Minister said that such cowardly attacks will not weaken the resolve of the people of Jammu and Kashmir to seek a peaceful resolution to the problem of Jammu and Kashmir. The Prime Minister said that “it is only through dialogue that a lasting solution can be found.” 

The Prime Minister is looking forward to visiting Srinagar and participating in the second roundtable meeting on Jammu & Kashmir scheduled for 24th and 25th May, 2006.
