JOB VACANCY – YOGA TEACHER

          The Embassy of India in Washington DC invites applications for the post of a part-time Yoga Teacher from US Citizens/permanent residents/ NRIs, with valid appropriate Visa and Work Permit.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Undergraduate degree with 3 years of experience of imparting Yoga training or 2 yrs diploma/certificate in the concerned field with 4 years of experience in imparting Yoga training.
• Sound knowledge in the use of computers.
• Skills/experience in production of stage programs/choreography.
• Experience in giving lecture demonstration.
• Fluency in English
• Age: Between 25 to 50 years

WORK PROFILE

• Impart training and teach courses in Yoga at different levels.
• Conduct seminars/workshops/lecture demonstrations etc.
• Undertake outreach activities at different venues to promote Yoga.
• Organize events/performances on special occasions.
• Handle various administrative works.
• Any other work assigned from time to time.

REMUNERATION

• Remuneration would be paid on honorarium basis @ US$ 60.00 per hour/class (3 classes per week).
